Married for over 30 years, Robert & Ginny Burroughs live in Ripon, California when they are not operating the Inn during the summer months. They purchased the Inn from David & Rosie Whitelock in 2020. They have been both guests & volunteers at the Inn at the Lake since David & Rosie first bought it themselves.
They have four girls who are all adults now. They have developed a habit of 'collecting kids' due to their kindness & open spirit. Over the years many young teens & adults have come to call the Burroughs family their own. Currently their favorite “job” in life is being Grammy and Grandpa to their two grandkids.
Though they have no formal training or experience in running an Inn, other than volunteering at the Inn at the Lake, they believe their personal life experiences of opening their home, and their cabin in the Sierra Nevada to many guests and long term “family” through the years has prepared them well to take on this new adventure!
The Summer of 2020 will be their first summer as owners of one of their personal favorite places on earth, the Inn at the Lake.
