Welcome
The Inn at the Lake is a cozy mountain retreat situated a few steps from Lake San Cristobal just outside of Lake City, Colorado. The Inn reflects the charm of a mountain lodge, and each of our ten rooms pays tribute to the best of the region with stunning views of the lake and the mountains beyond.
Activities
The Inn at the Lake lies in the San Juan Mountain range - home to multiple 14ers, the Alpine Loop and Lake San Cristobal. A premier destination for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy climbing, hiking, fishing, and four-wheeling. Lake City is known for its classic charm and is the perfect place to unplug and reconnect, enjoy dining, shopping and peruse art galleries, including our very own Art Wall. Whether you're looking for a quiet getaway or a fun adventure, there is no shortage of things to do.

Rooms & Rates
We are a ten-room bed and breakfast available from early June through the end of Sept. Whether you require one room, a location for a weekend,
a week-long group retreat,
or family reunion, or are an artist looking for inspiration and encouragement
we are here to meet your specific needs.
A full gourmet breakfast is served every morning at 8:30.

Inn at the Lake
Come join us in the beautiful log lodge where much of the action takes place at the Inn. Regardless of the weather outside, this warm and cozy room is filled with the aroma of fresh coffee, the guitar or piano ringing out melodies, the laughter of folks engaging in their stories, viewing local art on our gallery wall, enjoying delicious foods,
or playing board games.
You will experience one of the most spectacular views in the world while sitting in beautiful log furniture on the deck looking out over Lake San Cristobal at the Continental Divide skyline with peaks surpassing 14,000 feet.
Volunteer at the Inn
The Inn At The Lake is a nonprofit organization which relies on the help of volunteer support each summer. We invite you to spend a week helping out at the Inn and connecting with other great volunteers. It is a fulfilling experience that allows you to take in all the Inn has to offer while being part of a wonderful community. Our volunteers are an integral part of helping the Inn stay a place a of refuge for anyone who needs it.

The Burrow Collective Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization, operates as The Inn at The Lake, offering a warm and inviting retreat. Combining a sense of family-style hospitality with a mission to support and inspire creatives, the Inn provides a haven for relaxation, artistic collaboration, and shared passions.

There are an incredible amount of things to do in & around the Inn at the Lake.
