About the Event
What is a Barn Quilt? A barn quilt is a piece of painted wood that resembles a traditional quilt, square-shaped with geometric designs. They look like a single quilt block and are primarily used as decorations. Barn owners usually choose geometric designs that hold significance and meaning. Barn quilts (8 ft. x 8 ft.) are typically hung outside on a barn or smaller ones can be hung as decorative painting for inside. You will learn how to paint a small version of a traditional barn quilt that is 10 X10 inches wide. You will choose the design and colors for your "quilt". All materials provided in registration cost.
Instruction by veteran Art Teacher, Cheryl Bangle from Wichita, Kansas
